Well, the old girl was gettin tired, and she was costing about as much to keep on the road every month then a new truck payment would be, so I bought a new truck!
'05 Dodge Cummins 2500. Long box, quad cab, electric everything, spray in liner, fifth wheel rails, trailer brake controller, and aftermarket exhaust. I don't know what brand the exhaust is, but it does sound nice.
I'm getting 20 to 22 mpg with it. The salesman started out at $31,900. When it was all said and done, I got it for $24,500. It's got 45,000 miles on it, some older fellow owned it and used it to go down to Florida every year pulling his camper, so the cab is perfect. Just a cigarette smoke smell, but I'm working on that!
So, I've got to go update my truck profile!! peelout

Fogs...gotta get the fogs. Easy to install kit from the dealer with a separate switch and when you wire it, the wire that's supposed to go to the high beam wire....put that on the + side of the driver's side battery. That way you control the fogs, not the truck lights and then you have the ability to leave the fogs on while using the high beams. Did that on my 04.5 ST model and loved it.
