so i just traded in my 05 2500 6 spd.

for an 06 2500 auto

i pulled my bully dog out and put it in the 06.

i dont know if its me but it seems like the clutchs are slipn or the trq converter, is slipn.

need advise.

i plan on putting out 600hp befor its over with.

transmission wise, what would be the best $ option.

buy a billet or build a mild trans????????

and whats this "mystery switch"
for the trq. converter?

torque converter is slipping....weak link in the 48re....you could go with a torque convertor and a valve body that should last you for a while if you dont want to invest in a total tranny right away...the switch you are talking about I believe would be something that you use to force the converter into lock up mode.

Price to functionality, I would say Goerends is the top of the list. They all make an excellent trans. Call 3 or 4, tell them what you want and compare. :thumbsup

My buddy helped me build my trans. I went with the Suncoast parts that are in my sig. Nice unit. Shifts are firm yet soft enough for daily driver. I've sled pulled with it a few times and it hooks up well and stays hooked up. $2700 price tag then add $300 more for the Amsoil in it.
