the door speakers are 6x9's. if you have the infinity system than the door 6x9's only produce low and mid end sound and the dash speakers produce the high end/ vocals. if you replace the factory 6x9's with aftermarket units they may not be set up or designed to only handle that type of sound production. i tried replacing mine like that and it sounded horrible.
if you don't have the infinity system then it should sound fine. if you can try and get after market speakers that work at 2ohms then that will be best. i know infinity makes an after market sereis called the kappa sereies that can work at 2ohms. they are a very nice speaker but they have fitment issues and require a bit of trimming to make them fit as they are much beefier speaker than stock.
