A two inch kit will be able to use stock shocks, but they will be close to maxed out. When you go over a speedbump you will feel them bottom out as the front axle drops. I would imagine a three incher would definetly require longer shocks. I am running the silver and black Bilsteins, which are designed for up to a two or two and a half inch lift. Hope that helps!
