New oil psi sensor
Hey, so got my new oil psi sensor in today for my 2000 ram. The issue is that the sensor on the truck has the male pin in the sensor in the shape of a triangle (3 total pins) and the new sensor that I got from Schied Diesel is a three pin in a straight line. Even though the sensor is categorized as a 24 valve sensor from 98.5-01, I'm not sure what to do. Is there a adapter harness or a actually triangle shaped male fitting sensor?

I know this. I'm just trying to figure what year does it go on/is there a adapter harness for it, or does anyone know where I can find the oil pressure sensor with the round connector over the oval connected?you got the wrong part....

What part of wrong part don't out get? Send it back and go to your local Cummins dealer and get and OEM for less than $90.I know this. You got a part number? So far y'all have stated what I already know. Called cummins to order a new oil sensor and they said its obsolete.

Not yet. I haven't been able to pull it off given I've been working. I ordered if because the housing broke off (too brittle).and I'm throwing two codes for it. But Friday illbe able to pull it out and bump the numbersAll the ones I can find are 3 in a straight line. Got the part number off the old one?
