I put my new intake tube on last night (left the grid heater on). what a difference. I was told by some that they 'look nice' but don't expect anything. They were very wrong!

I spool way quicker, gained 4-5 psi boost, seem to have more power with less boost, and notice a big diff when on the lower Edge Levels.

I was towing about 7k today and I could really tell something was better.

Best $220 I've spent in a long time. And yes it looks cool, photo to come soon. I bought it off this forum, alum. with a couple ports in it.

After looking thru or trying to look thru the stock 3rd gen one, I can see why it makes such a diff.

If anyone is debating on gettting one, pull the trigger. I wouldn't pay for the 'big name ones' as this one rocks.

I like it. can't believe what a difference it made.

since it only has two ports I'll have to pull it off and put a few more in when the O2/Meth gets put on, but it shouldn't be to hard to weld a few more in.

I wish I had the coin to put one of those after market inakes on (the entire manifold). If the horn makes this much difference the manifold has to really rock.

byrds diesel makes a good one.. i got mind powder coated blk with 3 ports for 150 shipped....

look on ebay ill look for his email if any is interested....

i totally agree....the truck spools right up now...and i barely loose any mph on the highway when i let off the highway...its great

ill agree....however i think imo the "pusher" is a little better quality considering the countless R and D that he puts into his intakes. he engineered these to work under extreme conditions. you will not be disappointed.:thumbsup:

i dont know too much about byrds other than i dont think he or whoever makes them correctly welds the angles in them to properly line up with the factory intercooler boot. thats just what iv seen.:confused013: i guess there would be fitment issues. the Pusher installed on my truck in about 5min with no fitment issues. they just seem to be better quality.

I'm one of those that have been on the "fence" about buying one of these, I've been looking at this one..
eBay Motors: Dodge cummins custom intake manifold horn All 5.9 24v (item 150341807122 end time May-06-09 19:50:04 PDT)

How does the "pusher" hold up to this one? I'm guessing "byrds" is local?
I would say the Pusher is alot better due to the difference in alignment of the tube to the intake mount and its correct fitment to the intercooler boot...

wow...these pics pretty much wrap it up. the byrds looks like its about to fall of the truck:confused013:. anyways. imo the PUSHER is the best manifold on the market. simple, quality, and real world performance gains at a fraction of the price of others. it just makes sense:thumbsup: btw nice paint!
