Hi, I tried to get a Pullrite hitch in Canada but found that Hijacker in Victoria BC bakes an 18K hitch for what it would have cost me to get a 14K Pullrite for.

It took three hours to install, came with all the bolts, brackets, etc, needed. They even include an fish-wire to get the bolts through the tube frame!!! I am thoroughly impressed with Hijacker.

The hitch is WAY heavier duty than the Pullrite hitches are. I took my rig for a quick pull onto the highway and around the city and never had a problem.

Here are a few pics.

I used the under-the-bed install kit so I would have no rails to fight with when I am not towing.

I know these hitches are expensive but they will save your truck and trailer from a lot of abuse;

i almost got the hijacker autoslider but didnt like how high the hitch is. do you have any trouble with the hitch plate being that high, as or higher than the bed rails? how is your pinbox set up?

It appears that the 2 angles on top must contact the side of your 5er hitch and when the truck hitch senses the 5er hitch turning the slide starts to move back....

Be sure to keep all sliding parts well greased...

90 Degree Turning with a 6FT 4IN Box?

Hi!

What trailer do you have and how long is your box? I have a Cedar Creek 37RDTS and a new 2010 Dodge RAM 3500 Mega Cab with a short box (6'4"). I would like to get the slider hitch but I noticed the instructions say that the hitch is designed for a 6-1/2ft box and that there is no guarantee the trailer will be able to make a 90 degree turn with a smaller box. Have you had any trouble with turning?
