I saw a post for a 4? micron filter for the 6.7. I think it replaces the 05183410AA. The new canister does not have internal ribs. Does anyone have the new part numbers? Can't seem to find the post.

this pn is for the assy use on 09 the pn for the filter is 68061634aa you must change the assy 1st than than you can use the 09 filtermopar#68061633AA but it is not on dealer shelves yet i have tried
genos garage might know something more
you are right the housing & filter retail for 73.60 & the filter element retail for 38.95 they are on back order from chrysler you may go to cummins and buy it for lessThe assembly (I believe) is just the housing and filter and that is the stock # they are referencing. You will need a different # to get just the filter (after installing the new plastic housing).
I'm about to find out. I'm getting ready to head over to the local Cummins store for filters. Guess I'll see what they have to say about the fuel filter.Anyone managed to find one of the new systems yet? If not, I wonder what those people with 09.5 model trucks (built after December 15, 2008), which came with this setup factory, are doing for replacement cartriges. I sure would like to swap this new setup at my next OCI.
That's the old filter, not the new one. Just got back from Cummins, also. That filter is no longer being made.Forget the dealer, Cummins will have both the cartridge and the cannister. Forgot to ask what the cannister runs but I paid $37.32 for the cartridge, Cummins #FS43252.
