I have a 07 6.7l and I recently had my truck get a full delete with a MM3 tuner, issues is the "Full service catalytic required" kept coming on with a check engine light even after its been reset by the shop twice now that did the delete and install. question is if its still ok to drive since the shop is closed for the holidays? Second question is I also went from 265/70R17 to 35's and I know MPG will go down a little bit but is 4 MPG the norm even after getting deleted?

Don’t let the internet fool you, you get hardly any real world mpg from deleting (on our specific truck, can’t speak for others) and a huge real world hit on MPG from 35s soooo yea.. re-gearing helps but you will not get it all back. You get most of the mpg from the tuning, even then it’s nominal.

Deleting really just gives you a clean running reliable truck that’s easy to keep that way.

As for the cat full. Did you follow the mm3 delete instructions to the Tee? How did you physically delete the dpf and nox? Delete pipe, or full exhaust? Stock downpipe and cat in place?

I would use the tuner to re-flash the delete tune. That might fix the issue. But yea the delete tune should prevent that.

Googling around it seems some get that message randomly with that tuner.

Ok sounds good, Ill try and see if I can do it or take it back to the shop who did the install after Christmas is over. I just want to make sure its still ok to drive and won't make it go into limp mode.

It shouldn't go into limp mode, but I honestly cant be sure. I feel like if it was going to go into limp mode it would have done it already. Do you have the tuner with you? Just reflash it your self. There should be instructions for it.

I also wonder if the service message was from before the delete, or maybe the removed the parts and turned on the truck before flashing it so it has a message that just needs top be cleared.

EDIT: Reading around, even though there are not code, use a scanner to
"clean" anyway. See if that helps. Some guys remote that coming up every now and then on the MM3 from what im reading. (older information)

Yes I have the tuner in the truck, just no real instructions. The shop did clear the code twice already and yes the service message was there also before I had the truck deleted and tuner installed. Ill see what I can do here in a bit to see if I can clear it. Also tying to figure out how to rest the MPG reading on the overhead console.

You reset the mpg reading on the over head. Just hold the reset button. But that thing is worthless, only hand calculated at the pump is accurate. I like to reset mine while on the freeway to make myself feel better hahah.

So you had this message BEFORE deleting. That’s a different story entirely. Try holding down the cluster trip button and turning the ignition key to on (dont start the engine) then release the trip button and watch your dash gagues go wild this will reset things.

Other than that:
- check to make sure the tuner is latest delete as version, reflash
- I gone the message by clicking to a different menu on the overhead
- get a duffrent delete tuner?

Find the mm3 instructions online to reflash, this stuff is easy to to.
