For the past few months has had lost power and really long starts. I took it to a friend who does diesel work and he said my CP3 pump was bad. I ordered a new one and took it to him to have it replaced. It ran perfect for about two days. Now its back to lost power and the first start in the morning it's either really long or ill have to give it a shot of starting fluid but for the rest of the day it will start fine. Its also now giving a code of P0193 which is fuel rail pressure sensor circuit high input. I tried searching the problem but couldn't find anything that described my problem very well.

My truck is: 04.5 quad cab 4x4 automatic with AEM brute force air intake, bully dog triple dog gt, and i went from a stock CP3 to a fleece performance CP3K

P0193 Fuel Pressure Sensor Voltage Too High

That is usually due to a bad ground or battery connection. Might have been your problem all along. The system requires a full 24 volts to drive the injector solenoids correctly. Wihtout it there are many issues than arise.

Start checking grounds and battery cables. Battery cables and cross over cables can corrode inside the cover and reduce available voltage. Power wire for the ECU feed can do the same. A bad battery will cause same issues.
