Ok I just had a new CP-3 pump installed last week. Since then I have had 2 regens. The issue I am having is the boost jumps up to 15 psi several times during the regen now and it feels like you just stabbed the throttle! I have the pyrometer and boost gauge and have never witnessed this before.
I called the dealer and they told me that they reflashed the truck; but there was no sticker under the hood and there was nothing on my work order stating a new flash! They said that the new flash was required with the new CP-3 pump install but they could not tell me what version this flash is.
Has anyone else experiensed this boost surge during regen?:confused013:
