Just installed new Borgeson Pump and Gearbox. Want to flush. Have both return lines (from gearbox and hydroboost) stuck in a bottle. Plugged off pump return ports. Have completely removed tie-rod and drag link, since I'm waiting for my new T-system to arrive, so there is no load on the gearbox. Filled pump with Amsoil fluid, started truck, rotate steering stop to stop multiple time. NO noise from anything, and NO activity from pump. Fluid level is not changing. It's not even trying to pump. Does the gearbox need a load like having the steering system all connected up? Does a new pump need some kind of priming? I'm a bit befuddled, but I think it's something very simple, hoping someone can comment? Thanks so much!
BTW, I put a new seal kit in the vacuum pump, and verified vacuum is being produced, so I know the thing is spinning! And I did not forget to include the coupler that enables the vacuum pump shaft to drive the PS pump! It all went together nice and smooth. Truck is 2000 2500 4x4

Either the pump has air, pump is bad or pump is disconnected from the vac pump.

When I bought my borgeson steering the seller told me to keep the stock pump. Something about the borgeson having problems.

I doubt they will replace it for you, borgeson is not a great company.

Maybe use your stock pump

Thanks for the replies! After messing with it some more, and putting the high pressure line from pump directly into a bottle and loosening the connector slowly at the pump, suddenly the fluid BLASTED out of the pump. So, I believe air was the problem as was suggested.
Now I'm just waiting on my T-system steering (tie rod/drag link) which I had to re-order since my Amazon Prime order didn't come. Not their fault, the seller apparently is in hibernation (or something).
