I would keep the Edge and Intake. Add the BD power pup and then go to the FASS, Dual Disk, then think about injectors and a modified CP3

Don't forget to spend some money on a fine woman so you can have one to ride around in your rig with ya.

I would do the clutch first. What fun is all the power without being able to lay it all out. I am sick of having to turn down my edge just to race someone. I want the F'er cranked all out and drive the piss out of her when i want. The clutch is starting to bother me if you cant tell.

bout the turbo that willbe one of teh last things and by the time i can afford to do that im sure someone will have one out there, so you think i should just add the power pup instead of getting the pmt? i just like the fact that teh pmt you can update and i have a buyer for my edge and intake for like 75 dollars less than a payed for everything... lol and no about the using up all the truck money on the gf... im having to take her to a concert tonight lol.. o well she doesnt grip bout me spending my money on my truck so i guess its a lil price to pay lol

Since you said you're wanting to go all out, you should do a 5.9 head swap. :woot::peelout
how in depth is this to do? and is it worth what it would cost? what are teh advantages? has anyone done it yet?

Pretty in depth from what I've read. I think a few people out there might have done it, but not really sure on that one. There was a lot of talk about it on the forum. If you were able to do it, it would allow you to run everything for the 5.9s apparently, and allow you to get rid of all the emissions crap. I think the hardest thing would be getting the 5.9 pcm to work with the 6sp, but they had that combination in the 07s, so maybe it's possible.

If I had the money, I'd be doing it, but it's hard enough to afford fuel right now.

the 6.7 head and the 5.9 head are the SAME, if you really want to go all out get ahold of PDI and Industrial Injection if you have the money they will make you a custom big set of injectors and using a 5.9 manifold like pdi did on there 6.7, get bigger turbo or all out get twins set up on it. It can be down just noone wasting there time on the 6.7 when the 5.9 is easy and chaeper as of right now. You have the money for r&d you can mod the heck out of the 6.7. I will take donations to get 30-40 grand and get it all done for you guys.

Hey Matt, what's up? It's been a while!

MX Racer, how's it goin? I'm glad to see someone else wanting to do big-power mods to their 6.7. It seems like right now, most people are only doing electonics, exhaust, and other "play-it-safe" mods.

It appears that you're alot like me in the "BIG HP & TQ gains" aspect of things. So, this might be an interesting "tid-bit" for you?

On the I.I. turbo subject...They will build you one for a pretty fair price! Actually, about 5 months ago, I talked with THE guy that built that RAM 3500 6.7 for them (the one in the YouTube vid doing the dyno run). And he said that he would build me the same turbo they have on that truck, along with an Edge Juice w./Att., for around $2,500 for BOTH of them! And this was about 5 months ago!

So, if you want to go with a bigger turbo...call Industrial Injection, ask for Justin, and tell him that you saw the dyno video of the Performance Diesel Injection (PDI) 3500 RAM and you want one of those modified Phat Shaft turbo's for YOUR 6.7. He's a machinist, and is THE guy that designed, AND made that turbo from scratch!

ALSO, he told me that he made custom injectors (nozzles, or whatever you wanna call 'em) for that truck, and he could make me some of those as well, for a good price! He said they flowed "like nobody's business"! And, he perfectly matched and fine-tuned them for that particular turbo, to equalize the fuel-atomization / air ratio, for OPTIMAL Hp & Tq!!!

He's also really cool, so just call and tell him what you want to do with your truck, and he can "hook you up" with almost, if not, everything you'll need/want!

Hopefully this will help you out?

Al Mud Machine.
We have not seen you in a while!!

I talk to those fellows about a month ago. They told me that they would have it on the market soon. I will be getting my hands on a brand new stock turbo for free when i get home. So either i am going to sell it or use it and let them refit it to make more boost, but i keep leaning towards the PhatShaft, like a 64 if they offer that size.

For now I am going to put a Goerend TC($1050) in my truck and maybe do a 1 Piece Alu.($600ish) Drive shaft for my truck. Those numbers are not so bad.

If they're the same, what's to keep someone from getting ahold of a 5.9 PMC and adapting it to work with the 6.7 without all the emissions crap?
