hello i'am finally gonna buy i have narrowed it down to two trucks a 2004 or 2007 both 5.9 quad cab short bed 4x4 ! Looking for some pros/cons for the different years . Would sure appreciate some help . thanks in advance

Man, I'd shoot for that 07. You're not giving us a lot of info to work with, but newer is generally better. They had all of the kinks worked out by 07... My 04.5 has been super reliable, but it depends on the truck...

The 04 has 85k miles the 07 has 80 k miles both stock from what i can see stock exhaust stock air intake no after market guages the 07 does have an accident report left side front damage but whatever was done was fixed right no visible signs.

I have an 07 5.9, has 180.000K and I have no complaints. Bought the truck new, well maintained and the only problem I had was a faulty security module. One u joint in the rear shaft, and the two u joints in the front steer axel. I get about 14 mpg around town and about 21mpg on the highway. I have kept the truck all stock and rust proofed every year.
