i am going to be doing a silver 64 on a 6.7 that is a customer here. he has agreed to be sort of a test man as to i dont know how the truck will react with the variable geometry turbo off and the mechanical wastegate in place. i need a tune or ideas that will prevent the truck from limp mode... a soft code he and i can deal with but i need to stay away from any code that will through the truck into limp mode. cant have that. i am glad that this particular customer trusts us enough to be a pioneer. so come on guys.. help me get this to work right. also i will be installing a pdi two piece manifold. marco i could really use some of that tuning that may not have been released to the public or something like that. let me know . thank you again for the product and thank yall for all your help and input:thumbsup::thumbsup::yourock::yourock:

Try the H&S XRT. I know it has the custom tuning for aftermarket turbos as some of the other members are using it successfully.

I agree CountryPride...but I think the customer might have already bought the Smarty...

I have the XRT, and I KNOW for a fact that they have custom tuning for aftermarket turbo's...CompCowboy has it for his truck with his TWINS and XRT.

Mainly because I'll probably be getting TWINS before 2010, and I'll be getting Casey to make me a tune for my exact setup. I'll even drive to Utah (their location) if I have to get it perfect! And that's a LONG drive from Alabama! LOL

yes sir sure does. billet shafts are almost not nessesary on the 68s though they are huge compared to the 48 re. yes it will have valve body clutches i think they billet the input shaft . billet converter. triple disk.. i deal with barry owner of nadp...and he says it will hold 750 no prob so i plan i putting it to the test...might need some spray to get there but were gonna put it to the test:thumbsup:

aaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you almost just made me fall out of my chair..i am ssssooooooo glad to hear that. also i am gonna put a pdi two piece manifold on there.
Have fun, it is all easy after the stock manifold is off which is a pita to say the least. Save your self some time and un bolt the turbo and turn the studs in other than that it will not come out without the manifold coming with it very heavy and awkward. The water lines are easy to deal with.

ok so...h&s guys...will yalls tuner make it possible for me to change the turbo on this truck??
ABSOLUTELY! We have been offering an aftermarket turbo tune since day 1. It is a simple email update, or we can ship it with the programming already on there if you let me know before it ships. Code free and ready to go. I have no problems selling tuners to BADP as well. If the customer wants to give it a shot, let me know!
