My turbo has gone out on me, and I'm doing some research for the perfect turbo, that fits my mods.

I'm looking for about 450RWHP, and want the most MPG's I can get out of the truck.

The truck will be hauling a camper, and weigh about 8000lbs loaded.

Current mods:
330 injectors, no fuel plate, afc full forward, cold air intake, 4" DP, 5" straight pipe, Sun Coast tranny, and 4.10 gears. I've also got a timing kit to set it to 16.5 degrees soon here.

How can I find the perfect housing, compressor, and exhaust wheel sizes to make the perfect turbo for my setup?

Thanks for the suggestions, but see everyone tells me what turbo to use, but nobody can tell me why.

I'm looking to find out how I can match the turbo to my mods and needs.

There has got to be a way to find the correct sizes for housing, compressor, and exhaust wheels, to match my truck and my needs. I'm hoping someone knows what I'm talking about here.

Thanks

But really experience is the best. Emailing companies like HTT and II usually proves helpful.

I wouldn't expect better mpg from a larger turbo. You want something that spools fast and easily for mpg.

I think a special (64/71/14) would be too big for 450hp. I think you'll need more fuel to make 450 but a 62/65 or 62/71 and whatever housing you wanted would be enough. A s300G would make it on the dyno but be hot. I think the 65mm turbine wheel is all you need, and if you don't mind a slight bit more heat at full tilt, the 12cm housing would probably be better IMO

a II 62/65/12 will suport 450hp and tow 30k all day long under 1000deg post turbo
The Turd is right on if you have your cross hairs on fuel mileage only.

Also, don't be fooled by numbers.... The technology in High Tech's SS turbos are today's. The 13CM Housing from HTT with the 65 Wheel will spool as fast or faster than other S300 with journal bearing technology on your truck.
