Suggestion.

Consider a Carli,Lorenz or Thuren suspension upgrade. They all provide 10" of spring travel and maintain room for 35"s w/stock rims or H2's. You'll keep your center of gravity down, thus maximizing your emergency handling and side camber performance offroad.

Wow, 6"s with 35's? Kinda overkill?? 2" will more than clear 35's. Plus it's still usable as a truck for towing and such.

Suspension Choices

If you are looking for show, go with pro comp or super lift. If you want a real fourwheel drive suspension, functional, trail worthy, high performance...I highly suggest what Danderson said...Look into Thoren, Lorenz, Carli, or Kore... all very worthy products.

After months of research, I went with the Lorenz 2.25 sway away. I needed a suspension that would withstand the rigors of a trip up to Alaska, crossing rivers, logging roads, moderate technical. I have tested the suspension on several Death Valley expeditions and local wheeling trips. It exceeds my expectations greatly, especialy on wheel travel and stability at speed. Sean Lorenz has put serious technology into his product and is constantly refining it.

It all depends on what your criterion is for the suspension you want: look, speed, versital, expedition. Take your time...I changed my mind at least four times before I stumbled across Lorenz, thank God.

Yeah, if you do your reserch you will find your self wondering if you want looks or performance. I have decided to save the extra money and go with a good KORE or Lorenz package with an adjustable trac-bar. These are the guys that run the baja!!! So they know what they are doing.:thumbsup

6" and 35s. Handles and rides great. I don't do much serious off roading, but like Dom42 said, don't be afraid of the superlift, I'm sure it can handle most of what you throw at it. I do plan on adding some Thuren and Lorenz components to beef up my steering though, as these and the Carli and Kore suspensions and components are of very high quality. Overall though, I like my lift set up and am pretty happy with it.

I used to have a 6in Superlift, and it was alright for a while. Just make sure to upgrade your shocks if you go that route. I have the 8in Rize now, and I really like this lift. Dont have any experience with the ProComps, but they look like pretty good kits. Good luck to you with the truck perry12.

KBosworth06, nice truck bud!!:thumbsup

I got a 6in procomp lift w/mx6 adjustable shocks and dual steering stabilizers. So far the truck rides just as good as it did from the factory. My only complaint is that i should have gone higher.

i've got a 6" superlift on my mega runnin 37s with it and i like it. there is nothing wrong with it even though i probably should not have put the dual shocks (not including the one inside the coil) because it does ride a little stiff which never has really bothered me. had a superlift on my old ford and on this truck and i have no complaints at all about it!

I checked into it, and I think the parts were about 6k. That is for everything though, and not a bad price, when you are getting King Coil Overs, stabilizer, and resevoirs for the back. Those alone are a pretty penny!!

X2 6900 if you add the air bumps (that are freaking awesome) the ride quality is incredible and I have never felt the steering so tight and stable!
