got a 2001 5.9 6-speed 2500, low budget, I ant to know what would be the best chip or programmer to get, want to be able to control on the fly, not black out the place but still see it, and be able to tow a lot

any suggestions?

Please fill out your signature so we know if you have any supporting mods (lift pump, filter, exhaust).

Side note: I have an edge ez out of a 2001! I replaced it with a Juice w/Attitude CTS "Hot" unlock.

The edge was a noticeable increase as well as a 4-4.5 avg mpg gain with it on my truck, each truck takes a tuner differently.

Do a search for best programmer or something like that on here and you'll find tons of pages about this. You can also see all the hp/torque ratings for a lot of programmers if you go to the sticky "FAQ and Beautiful Women" and scroll down to where it says "common programmer manufacturer hp ratings" or something like that. Hope this helps.

Thats what killed the VP on my truck. My father would not listen, burnt up the VP...........Long story short, when I bought it it had a new vp from II, new Edge Juice w/Attitude CTS, and AirDog 2 165gph. Gotta love being able to manipulate fathers into buying parts to save you cash down the road!! The 100 would have cried once I do get my injectors/twin setup for 600hp...............
