Im making 40 psi of boost with the stock turbo and a comp box. When should i worry about upgrading my headstuds??

defiantly, if you have an automatic, im not even sure how you're making that much boost, my hy35's wastegate had an extra spring on it and still would blow open at 26psi with the EGT's above 1400. hx35 (manual tranny) is good for 35psi, starts to loose efficiency at about 30-32ish.

im running an hx40 right now, and have no issues spooling it to 32psi. the 40 at 32 psi is moving quite a bit of air, but it defiantly takes longer to spool than the hy35.

what else are you doing for fuel, edge box alone shouldn't be making 40psi out of either turbo.
