I've search on here and cant find much about this. When my turbo comes into boots or the engine break comes on my turbo has gotten loud. I can really hear it in the cab. I've checked hoses and couplers, but I cant find anything lose. The truck still makes good power. I'm lost and something isn't right. Please help!

Well, anytime your turbo "comes into boots", then you really have a problem! :D

Anyway, this is a new one on here as far as I can recall.

Generally, if anything serious was happening the CEL would come on and a code would be present.

And, lots of guys on here would like to have your problem, they want the turbo to be louder.

It’s your exhaust brake dude. Whenever you remove the DPF and SCR (basically two ginormous mufflers) your exhaust brake will be loud as hell. That’s the result of straightpiping it.

As for your turbo spooling that’s just a byproduct of your tuners tune for your truck.

There’s nothing wrong here. Get used to it

I understand that. My truck has been deleted for a few months now and it's a new sound. That's the point I'm trying to make.
You’re not going to get very far unless you get us a video clip.

Do you know how to post one on here? If not I can show you how

The easiest way is upload via YouTube. Then copy the link to your video and paste it here. It’ll look like this:

https://youtu.be/LM2uQFSESzY

OR..if you wanna get fancy and actually embed the video in a post on here. Then copy the link and paste it here. It’ll look like this:

https://youtu.be/LM2uQFSESzY

Delete everything but LM2uQFSESzY.

Now type the word “youtube” in front of that phrase but put [ ] around youtube
Then type this immediately after it “[/youtube]” without the quotes.

It will be one word with no spaces. After you’ve done that it will look like this on here.

Youtube is free just upload from your phone. Entire process will take about 15 minutes or less but atleast you’ll get a SOLID answer.

I think I figured it out. As I was doing more searching and checking things I noticed the manifold gas pressure sensor had come out. The metal tube had broke inside the fitting where it was flared. No codes were shown though. Kinda weird. I guess now I will try to fix it or just get a new sensor. I'm not sure, but I dont think I need it.
