Autometer site may have directions.

Did the kit come with a "Boost Bolt"? If so, connect the hose to the boost bolt. Connect the boost bolt to the rectangular metal cover underneath the grid heater.

Make a hole in the rubber grommet already in your firewall and run everything through there.

nfk,
In one picture I noticed it looks like there is teflon tape being used on the threads on another there isn't any being used. Is this correct? Should you use the tape to get a good seal? Thanks

I dont see the "boost bolt". All that came with my package is a clear tube that you hook to the back of the guage, and a plastic tee. Also where is everyone putting there EGT probe? Are yall drilling into the exaust manifold like the instructions say?

i drilled into the back half side ( if that makes sense ) of the
exhaust manifold. the drill shavings were not that big of a deal.
i was suprised at how easy it was to install the pyro.

as far as the boost bolt, it should have came with your boost gage.
its a silver looking bolt with a hole all the way through it.
the engine side of the clear tube goes into the top of the boost
bolt.

Elephant, do you have any pics of where you drilled your exaust manifold? Yeah I called autometer about the boost guage, and come to find out I am missing parts.:rant:

Yeah after further review, I was not sent all of the parts that I needed. Autometer calls for me to drill and tap a hole in my intake manifold, and then install a fitting with the tube up to the boost guage. I am still waiting for the parts. Also I was thinking about installing my EGT probe in my exaust pipe right after the turbo. Has anyone tried this? I am just really un-easy about drilling into my exaust manifold.

if you order the isspro kit it should come with all needed hardware.

mine did anyway.

:thumbsup
The thread title clearly states that the OP was using Autometer gauges. Because of that statement, I offered up the tidbit that the boost bolt was not usually included with the Autometer kits. Sure you can order it from DM for $8.99 plus shipping, but it is not included with the Autometer gauge kits.:thumbsup

yeah, i figured maybe autometer may have missed putting a boost bolt in with the op's original order. dont understand why it wouldnt come with one since the gage is worthless without it.

my bad, not trying to cross anyone.
