i'm tryin to replace the thermostat on a 07 6.7 cummins, i've got the hose off and all three bolts that bolt the elbow over the thermostat but can't get the piece to come off. it keeps getting stuck on the metal hose running horizontally over it. can some one help me thanks.

You talking about the small stainless tubing that comes from the exhaust manifold to the side of the T-stat housing??? If so you can unbolt that and should not have any trouble...

Oh, I bet your talking about the EGR cooler cross over tube... You may have to remove that if this is what your having trouble with... That would take loosening two clamps, one at each end and just keep up with the small gaskets at each end of the tube...

X's 2 it would prolly be easier to pull the crossover tube from the cooler side and loosen the egr motor side and push it out of the way that's usually what I do :thumbsup:
