anybody have one? i took mine apart to powder coat the housing and after reassembly i have an extra piece (go figure), and i cant figure out where it came from. its a small square steel piece and it seems it might connect both posts, but im not sure.

i searched the web n such with no luck, thought somone might have access to all data or somethin and could find the picture.

thanks much!

i know these 1st and 2nd dodge diesel kids in my town that are all about hot roding there trucks. all the mods big turbos ect. they remove the grid heater assembly 100% in the summer. wires, hearers ect. they say the heaters are restrictive as hell. they reinstall them in the winter.

so if you disconect the wires just wrap the ends in some e tape and i think you will be fine. or you could go one more step and hook your heaters up to a push button and use it only in the cold. thats what i did and i like it. starts fine in the 30s with out the heaters. even if i forget the switch back to diesel and start on waist oils!

But if you're not removing the heaters, why would you disconnect them? Can't think of any possible advantage to disconnecting the wires.
