Do you have to pull the outer front u-joints off to get to the Ball joints? I grabbed mine earlier today and they wiggled around just a little so they need to be replaced right? I was just wondering cause the ball joints are about to be done and if its in the process I'll just have them put in new u-joints

You don't have too no, but while they are in there it would be a good time for them to change them.

ya i would replace them while you are in there. otherwise you have to pull all the brakes and wheel bearings apart to change them. it just amazes me how dodge doesnt put greasable u-joints in the truck. i would make sure they are the greasable ones, sure a tinch extra work but its worth it, they last longer
