I need a motor for my 2005 Dodge 2500. Any recommendations where to get one? I'm in new orleans. Local places don't have any runners available, so probably looking to get a rebuilt.

Blackwater Engines I just had one of theirs put in my 05. I think it was $4100 for a long block.

I'm not sure on how it performs yet I should have it back sometime tomorrow and I will let you know what I think.
I think it was 4750 to my door but that was with the 450 for the ARP headstuds I ordered it with. They do require tho which they neglected to mention before I ordered that u need to install a new oil cooler for the warranty to be good. And they reccomend new injectors but I had mine tested and I'm going to reuse mine for awhile untill I can fund some different ones.

Gotcha. Requested pricing from them and a couple others. What kinda money to remove/install the motor. I know it'll be different here, but just curious.
