need 8.3 cummins caps pump

im looking for a good price on a caps injection pump its on a 99 model the dealer wants $5,400 for parts and labor now way for me to come up with that kind of cash
any idea thanks guys

Truck wrecker is going to be your best bet. Those CAPS pump are worse than the VP44 in terms of reliability, so it's going to be a crapshoot to get one that's better off than what you already have! What truck is it in and what are the symptoms? The accumulator section on top has a very high failure rate but you can replace it seperate. Hope I can help!

if i can find one for $1,000 to $2,000 that would be fine just not $4k a rebuilt one is really what im talking about the truck is black smoking like a freight train and at a idle it is white smoking you can still drive it 70mph down the hwy
