2006 1 ton 4wd.

The red rocker switch doesn't have anybody hooked to it. I am lookin' to find a place to add a switch to operate aux cargo lights on the new bed. I'm guessin' that this one would work fine, but why is it there to begin with? This is obviously an OEM deal as the panel is moulded for it. The switch is a 2 position single pole rocker with 1/4" blades.

Then - looking behind it, there is a plug in the loom that is not used, but it is made for a dbl pole switch with 1/8" blades. Any idea what that is for?

That is not an OEM switch, that panel is used on some trucks for something, I'm not sure what. Just use it for your lights. I'm using that panel for the dimmer for my LED gauge lights.

I think may be that is where the adjustable Pedal Switch would be.

Like said above, Not an OEM switch, So use it for your lights.

Maybe the P.O. was planning on using it as a TC lockup switch?
