I bought this truck about 6 months ago and it had the exhaust break on it but it never worked. So I decided to take a look at it and found that the break control valve wasn?t even connected to anything, could this be my problem?

Thanks man! I’ve done a little looking around and I think it’s the vacuum cylinder
Mine also ended up having a leak in the vacuum cyl of the brake itself. I had to replace the o ring. I couldnt get an o ring in time so i made it myself from oring material. Worked great and is still working great. I lube it once a month. Let me know your results!

So I ended up pulling the brake off to find out that the butterfly valve was stuck, so I sprayed carburetor cleaner on it and lubricated it like crazy until I got it unstuck. I works now but I feel like it’s weak. I ordered the new vacuum cylinder a while ago and it still hasn’t arrived. But I think that’s going to fix it completely.
