got truck Jan...todays the first chance lve had to CanadaProof it

1. find park
2. find space in shade with no kids about
3. Claybar..first time...piece of piss
4. maguires/step 1,2,3...wax on....wax off
5. prep fenders and doors for oncomeing winter
6. add bushwackers for layout...they call them bushwackers because thats what they do to you and your wallet
7. move to quieter spot with less kids
8. keep eye on questionable charecters lurking around at new spot...l growl and glare and they leave
9. remove tape carefully
10. look for screws for flares that you thought to put away so you WOULDNT missplace them
11. put bushwackers on for second time
12. getting dark and almost done which is good because lm thinking the park bathroom just up ahead is a pickup area for them funny type fellas which in turn would explain a few things
13. make note to self to find diffrent park next time
14. 8hrs later am done...bushwakers were done while ago...add 2 hrs if there not

all in all was a good day..trucks ready for whatever may come
preperation and planing :O)

actully its just priemium rocker guard from canadian tire...use it for all my trucks as it holds up well and drys hard...have already found a few rock chips on rockers and grille...l will retouch spring and fall as needed and will eventually do grille to as it wont last long up here with the snow salt and rocks thst live on our hyways...prep consited of wipeing down panels clean...l never sand as l dont wana break the paint...feel it promotes rust

thier called the pocket style l belive...got mine from Stylin trucks online...was only looking for 2 for the front and shure enough they sold them in pairs which was good as it was almost 500 for a set elsewhere...think mine were little over 200 and they have free shipping in the states..
as for chipping have no probs unless it gets nailed good by rocks and then its a easy touch up...keyword for me is easy cheap and reliable...painted the flares as well with it so will give you better idea of texture...texture is nice with just enough of a bump to look good....screws l just primed and color matched then installed...
flares ,rocker panels are very simple to touch up once initialy done
also used the rocker guard on the chrome grille above then color matched it...cant tell ya how easy this stuff has made my life
