you can see wat i have done to my 24v in my sig and last night going through town at 15-20 mph. my friend and i were next to each other and he wanted to race, kept reving so we took off and i smoked him. now for him details....

2006 4x4 3500 dually. 6 spd. man. 90 hp injectors, cai, juice with attitude, str8 pipe, banks intercooler, banks high ram. rebuilt engine about 3,000miles ago

i know his manual probable made a big diff, but with all the extra power he has into it, i figured he would smoke me.

stock turbo for now, dont know edge level, when i have rode with him he is way good at shifting, you could here in the exhaust it didnt sound as smooth as the engine should run, a little bit of a crisp sound?? like its not running quite right.

im not gonna sit here and say my 24v will smoke a 3rd gen cuz i know thats just not true, but somehting must be wrong with the way his is running

With the ez your about 260hp at the rear wheels... less than a stock 3rd gen. hard to believe but good for you
same thoughts as you. infact afterwards i said that same exact thing to my girlfriend who was riding wth me. even with my mods, im still not up to his stock power...

it felt good to smoke him, but once he gets it running better :S::S:

oh yeah did forget that, it is a stock clutch and he does say it slips like ky....

so i know it was a horrible excuse for a race, no where near fair, engine sounded like it needs to either be broke in or get a tune up or something, he needs a beter clutch(he has a dual disk south bend on its way) and i dont know what the edge was on,

i know i prob sound like a doucher for saying how my ez power cummins beat a common rail JWA powered cummins, thats why i am telling you all the stuff i know wrong with his so you dont think i think i beat a healthy common rail. i know i couldnt. it just felt good to beat somehting other than a hybrid even if it was not running good :rof:

Sweet, thanks, it is already in the works, Brian said we should see it shortly
great! was there a 5 spd option in the first 3rd gens or they do away with it? what is the hp and tq ratings of the 03-04 manuals(6 and 5 speed if they had it) and the auto's??

might not of sounding good because of the clutch...:confused013:

Only 6 speeds

The models had several different options

here they are

2003 S.O. Federal Emissions: 250HP/460lb.ft. Available with NV4500 or 47RE
2003 S.O. Calif. Emissions: 235HP/460lb.ft. Available with NV4500 or 47RE
2003 H.O. Federal Emissions: 305HP/555lb.ft. Only available with NV5600
2003.5 The 47RE was replaced by the 48RE automatic transmission and available with the H.O.

2004 S.O. Calif. Emissions: 235HP/460lb.ft. Available with NV4500 or 48RE
2004 H.O. Federal Emissions: 305HP/555lb.ft. Available with either NV5600 or 48RE
 thats a lot of variations thanks for this info. unless you have a 6-spd in 03 its not much more power than the 02's?? but 04 unless its a calif. emissions, they are all h.o. auto and man??
