It has alot to do with this new low sulfur fuel BS. Better for the environment but less mpg. Wats up with that?? Its rediculous.Are some trucks just extremely different? Tonight I went on about a 150 mile trip, reset my overhead when i left, and drove 73 the whole trip, and my overhead still only read 18mpg. when i first bought the truck new it was getting well over 20 on overhead. what gives??
Thread Hijack alert!I've had my overhead reflashed ('06 Mega Cab) but it's still only a guideline and has never been closer than 1 mpg to the truth. There are just too many variables; especially if you've got aftermarket stuff plugged in. It's fun to coast downhill from my local fuel station, reset the overhead, and pretend I'm getting 34 mpg though-
