MPG difference between late generation 3.5 and the equivalent 4th generation trucks?

So, say I had two trucks:

1. Stock 2009 2500 QC SB Auto 3.42 Unloaded
2. Stock 2010/11/12 2500 QC SB Auto 3.42 Unloaded

Which would get better fuel economy (if any), assuming both are driven lightly like grandpa? What MPG's should I expect?
