So, say I had two trucks:

1. Stock 2009 2500 QC SB Auto 3.42 Unloaded
2. Stock 2010/11/12 2500 QC SB Auto 3.42 Unloaded

Which would get better fuel economy (if any), assuming both are driven lightly like grandpa? What MPG's should I expect?

Thanks in advance!

Well if it's any comparison My brother has a Stock 2007.5 3500 QC SRW with 3.73 running stock tires and he's gets about 15MPG on the highway. I have a Stock 2011 3500 CC SRW with 3.73 but I’m running 33" tires and I’m averaging 16.5MPG. So I’d say little to none between the two. but if your looking into a new truck I’d say go for the 2010-2012 but that’s just my .02$

I don't think Quad Cab is an option anymore; only standard, crew, and mega.

You guys know what I mean. I'm talking about the cab that is in between the 2 door Regular cab and the Mega Cab.

So, you guys think they will get about the same MPG's, huh? I didn't know if they improved the aerodynamics substantially, changed the weight greatly, or any other MPG relevant changes to these trucks, so I wanted to check with you all here.
