Was curious about the mp-8 and if this a safe module to run with the dpf and egr still in tact. I'm just lookin for some mpg's and maybe a little more power. But dont want to plug up my great filter. I have had zero probs with this truck and dont want to start now. Thanks in advance guys and gals.

If you are leaving the DPF in place, I wouldn't suggest the MP8, I still have mine in place and it does not help me towing and hurts me in the city. Just my experience. Maybe with the junk off it is a different story.

I still have the DPF in place with an MP-8. Ive see 2mpg better on the highway with MP-8 set at 75% driving 67 mph. I have not noticed any noteable increase in the city yet, but I'm still expermenting with different settings.

I have not tested it empty on the highway empty, I don't use the truck if I'm not pulling.

I see about 1.5mpg increase in the city at 60-70% and 2mpg on highway at 100%.
