Yup you were in regen. The EGT's can hit 1500 in regen.

the truck will regen almost once a day if you drive it enough. Temps go up and the mileage goes down.

My truck does regen about once a day and the EGT's go up to around 1200 - 1300 during this. I've bumped 1600 on EGT's when I put my foot into it on level 5, and on a forum somewhere I read where a guy is bumping upwards of 1700! :hyper: I've tried calling everyone, including cummins, about the normal and high EGT's on this 6.7 and no one seems to know what the parameters are. Or they just won't tell. All Dodge, Chrysler and Cummins will seem to say is it will run much hotter than the 5.9s do.
