I've had a few people ask that I post some updates, so I decided to start a separate thread.

We have a 10K Equal-i-zer hitch that is 15 years old. It was looking pretty bad, so I had the hitch, sway bars, and shank blasted and powder coated. I also purchased new hardware. Here are a few pictures.

Don't know what happened there.....(loki?)
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Curious why any truck you currently own, fitted with proper mud tires, wouldn't perform just as well as a wrangler? If you go out and gather firewood and fill the bed, the truck is a better option.
In all fairness, the ground clearance on a 1500 is nothing to write home about. And loading that much firewood in the bed of one would have it compress the bump stops into a negative measurement.

I would much rather use an XJ and even a single axle trailer, as much as I dislike the latter.

Going against the spirit of this thread, this is my own picture. Didn't want to be only any lists for googling piles of poop on the interwebs. GSB might now a thing or 2 about that.
Piles, you say? We have a "long pile", and it's getting about three feet longer every day (approximately 1/30th of a month).

I suspect that Thorogood alone is responsible for about 25% of it.

Unfortunately, no, since I'm not the one spreading it.
