I have a auto meter pyro ultra light and will be buying trans. temp.Which guage would be a must besides those two?I would like to put them in a 3 place pod above the rear view mirror.

Boost?
Fuel press?

1) Rail Pressure
2) Boost
3) Fuel Pressure.

5 total will get you set up pretty nicely.

i would rather have rail pressure and boost pressure over trans temp.

in reality you should have all 5

Do you have a tuner? If not I see no need for either the boost or rp gauges...but if you do, flip a coin and pick one...or add a steering column pod and get both

When do you need a boost gauge?

Get a boost gauge...if you ever get a tuner that can make more power than the jr, get the rp gauge
