I just paid a crap load of money to get my stacks installed, i went with the 4" hookup underneath the truck for the DPF and I want to do a delete by the end of the year with a free flowing downpipe. So heres my question, is there a BIG difference between a 5" pipe vs a 4" pipe? My stacks are 4" to 5" to 6" tips.

sound is different, and as far as I know, i think the bigger the exhaust the slower your spooling up to build boost... im not sure how noticable it is though... im sure others will chime in.

Strange, I always read that the free flowing the exhaust, the quicker the spool up. In fact, the best exhaust system for a turbocharged engine, is no exhaust at all. The turbocharger provides all the back pressure the engine may need. You definitely will see power gains by getting rid of the restrictions after the turbo.
