doubtful, these turbos are computer controlled.
I would have thought so! My truck runs the same boost stock or turned up! That being said it does Peak alot higher with things turned up but then it comes right back down to 24-26.Huh? Surely the tuner has access to the boost map. I could be wrong. Wish Bud Kunz would chime in here.
Yep my experience with VW TDI engines if applicable says the map, stock or tuner; went full on and you saw a spike but in the end the turbo could only sustain 24-26. Your engine can produce more boost under load and the spike goes away as the engine catches up to the load if that makes sense. I could be wrong but I don't think turbo gassers get the spike.I would have thought so! My truck runs the same boost stock or turned up! Access to boost map.....yes and I will be looking for it when we get a more stable platform on the PMT.Huh? Surely the tuner has access to the boost map. I could be wrong. Wish Bud Kunz would chime in here.
So we haven't even touched it yet. Awesome!!! Thanks for the post Bud!Access to boost map.....yes and I will be looking for it when we get a more stable platform on the PMT.
So all we need to do is make our own wiring adapter to try it out. We just need to get some plugs from someone...Hint Hint...Someone...LOLSend me one and i will try it? LOL
I am not sure if they are the same Let me look.
Edit - Looked and they are not the same connectors. The wiring layout is the same but the 6.7 has a squared plug and the 5.9 is rounded.![]()
