Mopar severe duty filter question

1347 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  ranchmgr
Just bought a unused mopar severe duty filter kit from a fellow member. Instructions say "obtain fuel line bundle for the severe duty filtration kit" but I can't find one listed anywhere. Is there any way to tap into the the stock lines of my 07? Can I just cut it and flare the ends a little and clamp fuel line to it?

All you need to know about tapping into fuel line and then some.http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/3...y-fellas-its-christmas-look-what-i-found.html
Anyone know the thread size in the filter head so I can order the right fittings?

That thread has everything needed for a painless install.

2) Adapter, -6JIC x 12mm
4) 3/8 pushlock x -6 FJIC, 90 degree
2) 3/8 Tube Compression x 3/8 F-NPT (Local hardware store)
2) 3/8 M-NPT x -6 JIC
4') Fuel hose - 4' is a conservative estimate
