Hate to thread jack, but how do you like your fans? I have been thinking about them, do they help? HP or MPG? Thanks Chris

yeah they are pretty cool. when the old clutch fan would kick in the truck would loose alot of power. yanked that sucker off and now i dont have that problem. i didnt really notice any horsepower or mileage differance. probably because i have a problem with the skinny pedal.

Talk to Gus at FBD he can help. Depending on what stage you get will determine if you have to change the lines i know on the stage 3 you have to change the lines and crossover tubes.

are the monster pumps any more durable than the bosch vp44 pumps?

i know a p pump is the reliable way to go, but a difficult/expensive swap. what about a cp3, possible to swap?

I don't think the reliability factor can be proven on the monster pumps at this time. I am NOT saying they are not reliable but there are not enough of them with HIGH mileage to prove the service life.

I do think these pumps are good in a performance application. You need to CHANGE your injectors and cross over tubes if you want immediate reliability..... Even a set of F1 Mach 6 or 7 won't work with this pump unless they are modified. Almost all the early failures when this pump was introduced were due to injector mismatch.

what do you plan on doing with the truck? these pumps are made for horsepower. You need to run Mikes injectors to get the warranty with the pump. I have on my 2001 and its awesome!! (well was till the headgasket let go again) Im running a Edge drag comp and I was running around with the box OFF (the wire is NOT tapped) and it felt like it was on level 4 or 5!! I cant wait to get it running again!
