I'm looking to make my truck as efficient as possible and use it as my daily commuter. I have installed an exhaust, intake and Edge jwa. What other mods can be done to increase my mpg's?

Best way to get mileage with these trucks is to glue a pine cone to the accelerator pedal and drive barefoot.
There are some minor gains from running lighter weight synthetic oils in the drive line if you don't tow heavy. More tire air pressure may help a bit also.
The edge probably will hurt more than help simply because it makes driving much more enjoyable. 😁

Ditch the lift, ditch the tires, slow down to 55mph and turn the edge to 5 if you can keep your foot out of it.

Sorry to say, but your lift, tires, and speed are murdering any chance at reasonable mpgs.

Dropping from 70 mph to 55 mph adds about 4 mpg and I have a stock height truck with 235/85/16

beyond that there isn't much you can do. some small 50 hp injectors would help, but your tranny is going to hate that.

Hate to be the guy with the bad news, but unless you slow down, ditch the lift, ditch the tires, you're not going to see any improvement in mpgs. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

Not sure why you think you will be at risk by doing below 65. I doubt your truck is smaller than most of the cars on the road. Let them hit you :rof I bet they won't

Maybe a slight increase, problem is at that speed you are always in boost, guessing 8-15 psi?, which means your fuel usage is high regardless.

Injectors will help a lot more with MPGS off boost, due to them burning cleaner. But if you are using the extra power they provide it is just going to suck down more fuel.

I average 17.5 (give or take) with my setup mostly in town driving and get 22 mpg on highway. That was while driving through the hills of southern Missouri 65-70 with the edge on 5 cruising at 18 psi boost (jhooked hy35) only real trick I did was accelerating downhill so the torque converter wouldn't unlock on the up hill

Oh and that was on my old vp that was wire tapped. Waiting for the warranty to expire on my new vp before installing my stealth plate

sorry but I call bs on you getting 22 mpg at 65-70 mph at 18 psi. The fueling map just doesn't support that.

A diesel engine produces the most power per fuel burned at 550* turbine in. All engines are most efficient at torque peak rpm.

I honestly think the best mpgs would comes from 4:10's at 55-60 mph. That should put your rpms right in the meat of the power band without the drag that comes from being at the peak torque with 3.55's

Believe what you want but it was a 4 hour round trip pretty much 100% highway and I filled it up before I left then filled up when I got back to town. I then took the miles the gps said the route was vs gallons filled and ended up with 22.something mpg. With the tires I have and 3:55 gears i turn right about 1800-1900 rpms at 65-70

Over and over and over I've gotten mid 19s at 80-85 mph on 5 hr trips . Making around 15 psi at that speed. You may not believe that either though.

that is honestly amazing.

My truck would get less than 14mpg at that speed. I simply don't see how the trucks could get such wild different mpg.

The fuel maps at 15 psi just don't seem like they could get that kind of mpgs.
