It does not show up on the website because it is an "in store deal." Although it is not in the picture in the ad, it is in the fine print and when you go to the store it scans at that price which is a good deal for any regular 15w-40, let alone a synthetic 5w40. It goes through the 24th so I am being cheap and trying to go in and just get two so that I get the twenty dollar bonus too.

Is there a limit on how many you can buy? That is a freaking steal man! I'm going to go up and see if it is valid in these parts. I'm always trying to stock up on extra Mobil 1. Thanks for sharing!

I went by this morning. They only had 3. ordered 3 more because that was all that was in back stock. Must be discontinuing it or something. The girl that rung me up had to double check the price because it was such a deep discount. Amazing deal, Thanks Gretztky!

Hopefully the order comes through - I posted this same thing in the 3rd gen sections and another guy replied that he works for AZ and that they were discontinuing the mobil 1 5W-40 and that was the reason for the deal. But if you have more stores in close proximity just ask someone working there and they can tell you if the other stores have some stock

Just got back from buying 5 gallons, got all they had in the store for $12.99. The sale runs till 12/24/13. Guy said he could have more ordered if I want while the sale was still on. Can't beat the price for synthetic

Add another 9 gallons, now have 14 gallons in the garage on the shelf for that price. Should last me awhile.

Had to post and thank you again for this. I cleaned out 4 local stores yesterday and now have 12 gallons. Most said their trucks show up on Sunday and they will have more. i plan to go buy another 6 gallons. Should get me to 100,000 miles!

I saved over $200.00 yesterday. Every time the person checking me out had to double check that was correct.

Went to one of our local Autozones, didn't see any Mobil 1 for diesel in gallon jugs. Mentioned the sale, but they had no clue what I was talking about.

It's on the back page of the store flyer. It's in the $12.99 text as "Mobil 1 Truck Diesel" by the picture of Mobil Delvac & Valvoline Premium Blue.

On my receipt it's printed: #260522 120782 5W-40 Diesel Engine Oil


My local store didn't have any but they ordered in 18 gallons and had them all the next day.

And my store says they know nothing of discontinuing Mobil products. He told me that the stores were planning to discontinue the sale of 5W-40 diesel oil in general due to low sales...would explain why Valvoline is also sale priced.

People are making a big deal about it not being Cummins 20081 compliant in the 2013 forum. They are saying it will void the warranty. I bought a bunch too and posted on shelf life.

I have a couple years worth of oil changes from the dealer. Ill use the Mobil 1 in my other diesels

The Cummins CES 20081 spec isn't a concern if your stock emissions "fell off".

Even with a fully stock truck such as me, I'm not worried about Mobil 1 not meeting the CES 20081 certification, it's still API CJ-4 certified, and with the fuel dilution caused by the factory regeneration process, I change the oil every 4k miles.

I bought 24 gallons of this stuff. Here in Missouri the store manager said the warehouse was out of stock and none came in on the trucks today.
