Evening all,
This is a shot in the dark, but I hope one of y'all can help me.
I inherited a '92 D350 from my father-in-law that he bought second-hand. This was his farm truck. The thing looks beat to hell, but it runs better than any other 1st gen. I have ever seen because this was his daily driver.
Unfortunately, my FIL passed after a 3-year battle with leukemia.
I obviously want to keep it going. One day I hope my son and I can restore it to its original glory.
That said, when driving it, there is this awful metal-on-metal scraping coming from the passenger side. "Metal-on-metal" does not describe this sound, it's more like "glass-on-glass." It's horrendous.
I talked to my MIL about it, and she said that they had paperwork on a missing recall regarding that problem, but she cannot find it.
Does anyone know anything about this? Is this a part that can still be found or at least fabricated?
