I just had to replace my injectors a month ago and since then my mileage went from 21.4-22.8 down to 19.3 -19.6 no other changes I put in brand new from Bosch injectors and every thing is running beautiful and plenty of power but the mileage drop kind of makes me wonder what happened I have no leakage or funny noises either I did adjust valves while apart and all were a little on the loose side but thats it, any Ideas?????

I have an 03 and they just replaced all the injectors under warrenty and I went from 20 down to 14.6-15.1. I have talked to many different dealers and they tell me on the upgrade of injectors are causing the drop in fuel but it usually isnt as much as I am getting so I would say that sounds like that is going on with yours. They havent been able to find anything out with yet to get any fuel mileage back.

That is one down fall of going back to stock injectors. After running a diesel for many miles (close to 100k) the injectors wear in, more like the fuel bores them out a lill more with use.

Loss of Mileage

Tim,
Did you ever find out why you loss mileage with the new injectors? Find any fixes? I just replaced my injectors with rubuilt and mileage has drop substantially. Any thing would be helpful.
