why do I not hear much about these processes on diesel engines? They can strenghten many parts on our trucks I have used it on gas racing stuff and it makes a real difference. especially if they do not make upgraded parts say like the g56 gear sets hell i wonder if doing headstuds would help on the tensile strength? In am sure it would and at like $4 per pound it might be a cost effective solution to arp studs or even the middle grade arp studs
instead of the 1000 dollar set I dont know just thinking out loud

Cryo only helps wear characteristics it does not "strengthen the metal".

Mikronite also does not "strengthen the metal" either, it is much like cryo treatment except you reduce the COF (coefficient of friction) among other things.

One reason that you don't see them in diesel's is that the processes are very expensive to do!


ARP studs are expensive for a reason! Call them up and ask them what processes they go through to achieve their high standards.
