Hello All! Long time lurker to the forum but never joined til recently. Here is quick over view of my issue. I have a 98.5 24v When i got the truck the ol girl was throwing multiple codes (overboost, tps, the campanion code 1693 i think) well I have fixed the over boost issue the wastegate actuator was junk and replaced that. Anyway to the TPS issue. I have a P0122 code that will no go away. I purchased a new TPS.. Set the voltage to .55 (specs was .50-.60) I did the APPS reset so many times i have to take off my shoes to count. Either way the Code will not clear. I have a OTC scan tool tried to clear it with that, no luck. So i took it to a friend with a Snap on Motis scanner. I tried to clear it with that and it instantly pops back up. (low voltage circuit A).

The truck runs great. Just has a little lumpy idle and would buck when the converter locked up. Now the buck in lock up is gone and the idle is the same. Also if its any thing related the idle is around 1k-950.

Things that i have recently replaced:

Brand new Stock oem Injectors
Fuel Filter
Air filter
New Lift pump

Any guidance in any area would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

MoparMan .. you sir Saved me a considerable amount of time with that link! Thank you that makes much more sense .. well guess that would explain the lumpy 950rpm idle and all that jazz. The previous owner told me he had the TPS replaced and it hs the pigtail that converts it to the oem plug. So i am going to pop that bad boy back on tomorrow and see what happens. I always wondered why i never had a idle up on the truck lol :worthy:

Welp got the tps set and code is gone. Drives alot better... but still have a idle issue.. it kinda has a tiny skip to idle and the tach needle jumps a bit when it does. I have checked the fuel pressure at idle which is 14-15psi .. but i dont have the ability to check it at WOT. I am using a mechanical fuel system pressure tester ..Also my idle has dropped some to around 800-850ish .. the motor if i can best describe it is it clacks.. its louder then all my other guys 24v's ..
