Hey guys;
My truck was sitting for a couple months last fall and apparently some mice decided my air ducts would make a good home, or at least a good bathroom:(. Now every time I start it it stinks to high heaven for a few minutes until the air circulates a bit. (That is, every time the heater is turned on after being off for a while.) What can I do? I'm really hoping I don't have to tear my whole climate control system apart to clean it out. Any thoughts?

I solved my mouse problem by stuffing behind the hood hinges with SS pot scrubber (SS Steel Wool). This keeps mice from getting in the cowel drains.
I'm not sure if you can reach the heater by dropping the heater motor (driver's side foot well). Use your hand & shop vac to clear everything you can reach.

Good luck. We have to screen cabin & airfilters here in the woods.
