Methanol/diesel mix

Just curious, has anyone ever tried actually mixing methanol with their fuel? Is it bad on the injection pump? (seals, o-rings,etc)

Alcohol is very low lubricity and draws water, both bad for injectors and pumps. If you are looking for the power boost, it would be better to inject the methanol with water. 50/50 or less methanol to water.

This mod can be risky as it increases cylinder pressures pretty significantly.
