Currently have a 2015 Mega cab with a Pace Edwards switchblade retractable tonneau cover. Looking to replace it with a camper shell. Possibly an ARE z series.

For all those with Mega cabs and camper shells, please share!!!

Does anyone know if there is a general camper shell thread somewhere? I have a long bed and would like to see some pics before pulling the trigger on one.
Subscribed, also interested if there's a cap that works with the ram box

There's a handful of pics off google alone on the CCLB and a few threads on here.

I've found 2 users so far here:

HouseApe
Palady6.7

That own/ have posted their Megacab with a camper.

Anybody??

Sweet!! :drool2: diggin the two tone.

Do you by any chance have a tool box/chest inside?
Thinking of throwing on the ARE Z series and possibly a small chest. Turning the bed into a 4.5 bed lol. Megacab problems
Very nice truck, good job on the shell,,sharp
I decided to save a few hundred bucks for other projects(ammo) and went with the less expensive ARE shell. After looking at the window differences it didn't seem to me that it was worth paying up for the full windows since mine is all black it didn't enhance the look as much as it did on my buddy's red truck.

That looks sharp EReyes! I like seeing the different wheels you've had over time. I keep debating on different shoes but haven't decided where to go. Currently my wife has placed a household arms/truck parts embargo. Hoping to negotiate a treaty before spring comes. :hehe:
i have the uni-cover pro sport model. looks funny on a dually but it's only on during hunting season.

That white looks clean! If we didn't have so many white-outs in the winter that would've been my choice.

2014 Mega Cab with ARE MX

Went with the ARE MX Series for the additional headroom.

I'm very glad I did because when I'm sitting up in the bed, my head barely touches the roof. A few less inches of headroom would make sitting up uncomfortable.

"Grandpa stigma" = so true! :hehe:

In an effort to move from the "I just retired" crowd and into the "mid-life crisis crowd", I removed the factory fender flares, did a partial debadging (still need to do the tailgate), and put on a stubby antennae. A leveling kit, slightly larger tires, removing the ladder bars off of the cap, and color matching should round out this age-migration treatment.
